Biography
My art is about passion and light.
Painting the stories is like an expedition and a new reality. How different it is to read pictures rather than words. Each of my paintings tells its own story, and I’m never quite sure even myself of what the end result will be. At first there’s a thought and idea. Then there’s a feeling and surprising elements come along. I make the bases of my paintings out of linen or plywood. It’s like the painting comes alive from that moment. Usually I paint with oil colors and the colors just follow each other.
